Richard Evan Pike, 65, of Terra, Utah, passed away peacefully at home late on September 5th, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on February 27, 1960, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Richard was the beloved son of Richard Albert Pike and Barbara Pratt Christiansen. In 2002, he married the love of his life, Crystal Pike. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised five children, creating a home filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

Richard was a man of many passions, but none greater than his love for cars. As Vice President of Utah Auto Parts, he spent years doing what he loved-working with engines, solving problems, and sharing his knowledge with others. His enthusiasm for automotive repair was matched only by his joy in helping others.

He was known for his big, warm smile and a sense of humor that could light up any room. Richard had a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. Whether he was cracking a joke or sharing a story, he brought joy to everyone around him.

Richard found peace in nature. He loved camping under the stars, casting a line into a quiet lake, and tracking through the woods during hunting season. These moments outdoors were where he felt most alive.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Crystal; his sons Robbie Pike and Nicholas Pike; and his stepchildren Amanda Mueller Green, Justin Green, and Sierria Green. His legacy lives on in his grandchildren: Julianna Pike, Gabriella Pike, Londyn McLane, Grayson McLane, Kenszington McLane, and Autumn Green. He is also survived by his sisters Lawna Staker, Lori Weidenbacher, and Karen Williams.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Dixie Fivas and Judy Johnson. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Richard's life will be on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 2pm at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah, with a visitation prior from 1-2pm.
