Richard “Ricky” D. Potvin, III, age 20, of Southington, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2024.
Ricky was born in Bristol on April 15, 2004. He graduated from Southington High School, KSA, Class of 2022. He loved being outdoors; camping, fishing, hiking with Eleanor the dog and riding his minibike. Ricky leaves behind his loving family and so many friends who loved him.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Richard D. Potvin, Jr. and Lissette Delgado, siblings, Vince, Mateo, Christian and Ryan, paternal grandmother, Sheila Potvin, many aunts, uncles and cousins, including Emily, Jake and Rosie and his mother, Heidi Wolak.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ricky’s memory may be made to the "Ricky Donald Potvin Memorial Fund" c/o Liberty Bank, 60 North Main St., Southington, CT 06489.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. For online condolences and directions, please visit www.plantsvillefunerahome.com.
