He was predeceased by his wife, Sharon (Flynn) Faraone, his father, Nicola Mario Faraone and mother, Maria (Caiata) Faraone, father-in-law, Gerald Flynn Sr. and mother-in-law, Mary (Micale) Flynn, his sister, Vita (Faraone) Paradis, brother, Donato Faraone, brothers-in-law, Vito Potenza, Michael Levanduski and Gerald Flynn Jr.

Carmine is survived by his son, Nicola Gerald Faraone and daughter-in-law, Irene (Tsikitas) Faraone, grandchildren, Panagioti Carmine, Nicola Mario and Melina Calliopi. He is also survived by his sisters, Antoinetta (Faraone) Potenza, Rocky (Faraone) Aldi and her husband Albert, Rose (Faraone) Levanduski, brother, Joseph Faraone and his wife Dolores (Sawyer) Faraone, brother-in-law, Victor Paradis and sisters-in-law, Rosa (Ragazzino) Faraone and Charlotte (Dorflinger) Flynn.

Carmine Faraone was born on November 24,1940 and raised in Picerno (Potenza), Italy and was the oldest of nine children. He arrived in America in 1961. He met the love of his life, Sharon, and they were married at St. Sebastian Church in Middletown,CT in 1978. Carmine and Sharon were blessed with the birth of their precious son Nicola in 1979, and they lived in New Britain, CT. Carmine's passion for fixing & building things, and carpentry led him to his long-term career at Alden Manufacturing in Hartford, CT, where he worked for 47 years. After retiring from Alden, they moved to Middletown, CT in 2010. Along with his dedication to his carpentry work, Carmine loved the outdoors. He was a hunter, fisherman, and had the greenest thumb this side of the Mediterranean. He always spent time in his garden and never passed up a chance to work on someone else's garden too. Some would say the tomatoes and squash grew so big because of all the love he showered them with.

In the early 1970s, Carmine enjoyed his time bowling with his wife, Sharon at Laurel Lanes in Plainville, CT. As years went on, he eventually formed a team including his son Nick (and some years later adding Irene). They shared so many memorable times together. As much as he loved all these activities, they could not compare to the love he had for his family. He always went out of his way to help others and never asked for anything in return. Carmine's heart was so full watching his son grow up, get married, and creating a beautiful family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Carmine also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, three Godchildren and many friends. The size of Carmine's heart was immeasurable and he will be deeply missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on Friday, November 21, 2025 at St. Ann’s Church, 47 Clark St., New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Britain.
