Richard Lee "Butch" Price, 74, of Greeley, CO, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Westlake Lodge Health. He was born on March 25, 1949 to Merle Richard Price and Martha May (McClure) Price in Phillipsburg, Kansas. He and his family moved to Greeley in 1957.
Butch married Carla Rose Lowry on April 10, 1968 in Greeley.
Butch worked as a roofer for 50 years. He enjoyed fishing with his friends, Pineapple and Mitch and traveling with Carla and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John and David Price and his wife, Carla.
He is survived by two sisters, Shirley (Jim) Carroll and Judy (Don) Roth; a brother, Andrew Price; four step-children, Jetty (Kenneth) White, Lionel (Dani) DeMarrias, Shellen (Hector) Herrera and Velvet Bailey; daughter, Lynette (Michael) Adams and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St., Greeley followed by a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 28th St., Greeley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bristol Hospice in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St., Greeley, CO 80634.
