Sweetest man and he loved the Lord. One of my sweetest memories was sitting with Jenny and Richard in their home and talking about our love for the Lord when I was going through a difficult time in my life. Also, Richard would stop by when walking Cookie and ask me how I was doing and tell me a story or a joke- always cheering up my day. He was the light and laughter in the neighborhood and did this for many of us. We will miss his folk telling, contagious smile and oh his humor! See you in heaven Richard. Love and hugs to you Jenny! He so loved you very much!

I will truly miss my Richard and Cookies daily visits to our home and all the poems, stories, jokes and cards he shared with our family. What a great friend and neighbor who always shared his humor and kindness and always made us laugh. We miss him!

I graduated from Aquinas with Dick in 1959. I renewed our friendship just before he and his family moved to Charlotte. In my opinion, the obituary says it all: Dick was the epitome of an Aquinas graduate and I'm proud to have known him. My sympathies to his family.

RIP
I remember Richard at HS at Aquinas where we were friends and saw him at a few early reunions. Also, would see him while he was auditing at banks in Rochester. He was a gentleman and always low key. Condolences to family.
