Richard Reals Obituary

Fort Atkinson, WI - Richard G. Reals, 71, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Rainbow Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.

Richard was born on April 13, 1954, in Columbus, the son of Arnold and Charlotte (Root) Reals. He was a graduate of Lake Mills High School. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, playing cards, and watching wrestling. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his children Rochelle Reals, Ricky (Cayley Kirchner) Reals, Jennifer Blank, grandchildren Tiffany, Matt, Kiera, Haayden, and his siblings Rita (Effrain) Ayala, Robin (Wes) Priesgen, Rosie Reals, Paul Reals, Marie Grey, and Frances Reals. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, significant other Janice Porter, and brother Orville Reals.

A memorial service will take place at 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Waterloo, with speaker Steve Balding presiding. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 4:00pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date at Sweet Cemetery in Sun Prairie.
