Mr. Richard Raymond Register

Mr. Richard Raymond Register, 73, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, following an extended illness. He is the son of the late Clyde and Mae Clayton Register he is preceded in death by one brother Jimmy Register and a sister Betty Clayton. Richard was a lifelong resident of Lake City and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, especially at Horseshoe Beach, playing bingo.
Mr. Richard is survived by two sons James "Booger" Register, Lake City, FL; and Richard "Ritchie" Raymond Register, Jr. Lake City, FL; two daughters Shelia Hall (Larry) Lake City, FL; Jeanette Young (Doug) White Springs, FL; and one sister Joyce Tyre, Lake City, FL and his close friend Cathy Dobbs, Lake City, FL. eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. And a host of extended family also survive.
A funeral service for Mr. Richard Raymond Register will be conducted on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Lake City, FL. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M.
