RICHARD “RIC” HOWARD MONEY
HEADLAND… Richard “Ric” Howard Money, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Friday morning, October 17, 2025, at his home. He was 75.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Reverend Joel Laseter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Money’s honor to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 2506 SR-134, Headland, Alabama 36345.
Mr. Money was born in Headland, Alabama to the late Joe Howard “Pete” Money and Joan Hamm Money. He was a 1968 graduate of Headland High School. He attended Troy State University. He served his country and retired from the U.S. Army National Guard. He retired from Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant as nuclear engineer. Ric loved to travel. There was not and will not be a bigger Alabama Football Fan. He was a member of the American Hemerocallis Society (American Daylily Society). He was a dedicated member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Pamela Flowers Money.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife Terri Craft Money; his brothers, Steve Money, Shane Money (Janet), and Chris Money (Susan); his nieces and nephews, Leigh Watson (Tyrone), Samantha Garrett (Chipper), Kristin Money (Amanda), and Jolie Money; his great nephews and a great niece; and his beloved canine companion, Milli.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Charles Reneau, David Gulledge, Jack Watson, Chipper Garrett, Tyrone Watson, Rick Woodfin, Joey Brown, Curry Parker, Bill Jack Granberry, and Morris Parr.
