Richard L Richardson age 71 passed away Aug 24, 2025, of Brook Park, Ohio. Born on April 12, 1954. Beloved son of the late Alice & Ira (Dick) Richardson. He is survived by his twin daughters Amanda (Anthony) Frisoli, Julie (Chuck) Genaro and son David Richardson, along with his former wife Barbara Richardson. He had 7 grandchildren that he loved; Tyler, Andrea & Emily Genaro, Sierra, Eva, Olivia & Jessa Frisoli whom he loved very much and also wanted to hearing stories of their activities. In addition, he is survived by his sister Susan (late-Craig) Lucky; nieces Susie (Dave) Rak, Michelle (Michael) Malak. His sister Kerry (late-Sam) Reynard and her daughters Dorianne Santa & Megan Reynard of San Francisco Bay Area, California. He also had a great niece Lilu and great nephew Miko. He is survived by several cousins who are spread afar.

He worked at MTD in Valley City for 47 years until he retired in 2016. He was a dye maker then went back to school and switched to working in their parts department helping others on the computer. He liked to build things. He made a lighthouse for his aunt, refurbished a toy red wagon and made vases out of clay. His favorite signer was Celine Dion who he was hoping to see in concert one day. He loved signing and music. He was in choir during high school. He also sang at church as an adult for several years. Richard played on a softball league when his children were young. When they were old enough to play he signed up to be their coach. He was involved in Indian Guides and Princess with all three of his children; where they would do camping trips, activities, outings and have fun making things. He also helped build their cars for the Pinewood Derby's and sailboats to float down Hinkley Lake. Richard also had a love for dogs and leaves behind his beloved Tinkerbell.

At this time his family and friends are working out details for a Celebration of Life. Once those details have been made, the family will let everyone know. Please keep Richard's family in your prayers as they navigate through this difficult time. The family would like to thank everyone who has helped care for Richard over the last five years. The family would also like to thank everyone at Southwest Hospice for their care and generosity toward Richard in his final days.
