Richard A. "Rick" Mc Fadden, age 77, of Wilder, Kentucky passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 22, 1948 to Ferman and Marguerite McFadden (nee Demaris).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferman and Marguerite McFadden.
Richard is survived by his beloved Wife Sybil L. McFadden (nee Button and a host of other family members and friends.
Rick was a very active person. He ran 40 marathons some of which supported children’s leukemia. He was an avid skier in his youth and love to play golf He was a large supporter of the Cincinnati zoo as he loved animals and made several trips to Africa.
He could be seen on a daily basis in different locations with his beloved borzoi dogs who went with him everywhere every day .
He graduated from UC with a degree in finance and was the assistant controller for US shoe corporation for many years until the company closed. He read the Wall Street Journal every day. He enjoyed a good laugh and was married to his wife Sybil for over 50 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife and sister-in-law Sabra Thomas and of course his dogs.
