Richard Davis Ritter, age 79 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. He was anxious to meet his Lord and knew exactly where he was going.
Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2023, 11:00am until 1:00pm at Brandon Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm at the church. Burial will follow in Florence Cemetery.
He was born in Memphis, TN on July 11, 1944, to the late Troy Ritter and Virginia Davis Ritter.
Richard was a member of Brandon Baptist Church and loved his church. He enjoyed hunting camp and especially travelling with his wife Mary.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years Mary Ritter; children, Shane (Julie) Ritter and Leslie (Stan) Fisher; stepdaughter Rebecca (David) Carter, siblings, Jim (Mary) Ritter, Jean (CEC) Brunson, and Lyn Brown; 13 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Fran Lewis, Helen Guini, and David Snipes.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brandon Baptist Building Fund.
