Richard L. ROB, Sr. age 82 (years old). Beloved husband of Anita Rob for over 60 years. Loving father of Richie (deceased), Debbie (Scott), and Michael (Jessica). Beloved grandfather of Robin, Max, and Sophia. Dear brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Richard had a life of service starting in 1962 when he enlisted in the Army and was honorably discharged in May of 1965. In 1968, Richard started as a patrolman for the City of Parma Hts. Police Dept. He served on the force for 17 years at which time he accepted a job with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Ohio as an Investigator and in only a few years was promoted the Director of the Investigative Unit. Richard’s service continued as a Councilman for the City of Parma Hts. as well as the Safety Director. In 2003, he was asked to be the Chief Investigator for the Ohio Turnpike until 2013 at which time he retired.
Per Richard’s request, there will not be any services. Cremation by The Zabor Funeral Home, Parma.
