Richard J. Rodrigue
Larose - Richard J. Rodrigue, a native of Larose, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church mausoleum.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Lee Defelice Rodrigue; sons, James Rodrigue (Brenda), Ricky Rodrigue (Pam); grandchildren, Monica Doucet Kysar (John), Mitzi Doucet Rogers, Miranda Doucet Goldman (Brandon), Aaron Rodrigue (Suzie), Jamie Rodrigue, Joshua Rodrigue (Lainey), Regan Rodrigue (Crisan); eight great grandchildren and his beloved pet dog Doey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Augustin Rodrigue, Regina Savoie Rodrigue; daughter, Patricia "Pat" Rodrigue Doucet; sisters, Armance R. Adams, Mae R. Guidry, Irene R. Richoux; brothers, Ecton, Smith, John Edward "Beb", Sidney, Charles "C.J."
Richard was a World War II veteran. He was an avid sportsman, gardener, jack of all trades; his family was his life.
In lieu of flowers, donate to your favorite charity in his name.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
