Richard Malcolm “Dick” Rogers, age 92, passed away September 23, 2025 after a brief hospitalization. He was born January 27, 1933 to parents Manford and Wilma Rogers. A 1951 graduate of Monon High School, he was a two time basketball letterman. After serving in the Air Force he married Doris Hintz on August 28, 1955. He enrolled at Indiana University graduating in 1960 with a Bachelors Degree. He and Doris had three children, Jerry Lee who died soon after birth, Michael Eugene, and Patricia Ann Rogers Douglass who died in 2016.

Dick was a long time member of the Downtown Indianapolis Lions Club, being very involved with the club - especially their vision screening for students in Indianapolis Public Schools. He was also a member of Zionsville United Methodist Church.
