Richard C. Rush, Age 78, of Allison Park, after a brief cancer diagnosis, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Beloved husband of Beverly (Dobson); loving father of Stephanie Williamson and Jaime (Donald) Gallo; proud and devoted pappy of Cora, Salvatore, Evelyn, Saverio, and Silvio Gallo; dear brother of Cindy (Joe) Harris and the late William and Dennis; he is preceded in death by parents Clarence and Betty (Croskey) Rush; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Rich was a proud veteran serving his country in the US Army. He was also a dedicated employee of Peoples Gas for over 42 years. Rich was an avid grouse and deer hunter with an immense love for the outdoors as well as taking great care of his yard and garden. Even though he was known for having the biggest sweet tooth in the family, Rich was a true physical fitness enthusiast, making activity a daily priority. One of his favorite trips to make was to the eastern coast near Baltimore. He will fondly be remembered as an incredibly patient man, always being kind and fair in his dealings with family, friends, and others. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mattew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Burial will be held privately at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
