Richard Lee Samuelson, age 78, passed away May 25, 2024.
He was born March 5, 1946 to the late Arnold and Edna (Sumner) Samuelson in Iowa. Richard enlisted in the Army in 1968, during the Vietnam War and was a Helicopter Crew Chief and a Gunnery Sergeant. He worked for Farmland in Denison and Woodbine manufacturing for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Donald, Bob, Jim, Melvin, and Ronald; sisters, Francis Bonar, Viola Bonar, Evelyn Wagner, Marjorie Kroll, and Judy Christensen.
He is survived by sister, Jan Mathison and her husband Jerry; brother-in-law, Kenny Christensen; many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Community Room on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 with a visitation to follow until 4:00 PM.
