Richard Eugene Scheehle

A Celebration of Life service was held for Richard Eugene Scheehle, 70, on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. at 616 Arapahoe Trail in Glenrock, Wyoming.
Richard Scheehle died peacefully at his home in Glenrock, Wyoming on Friday, March 14, 2025 with his companion, Dena Gardiner, at his bedside.
Richard was born Friday, June 25, 1954 in Martins Ferry, Ohio the son of Harry Eugene and Jacqueline Mae (Snyder) Scheehle. He was raised and educated in Janesville, Wisconsin. In 1994 he moved to Glenrock where he worked as a cook in various restaurants in the area. He was a backyard mechanic and also worked on repairing small engines.
He enjoyed camping; music, especially Roy Orbison and Queen; and spending time with his family.
Richard was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
He is survived by his significant other, Dena Gardiner, of Glenrock; children, Brenda Middleton and John Scheehle both of Janesville; siblings, Meri Schofield of Glenrock, Sigvartson of Lusk, Wyoming, Judi Simons of Casper, Wyoming, and Tom Scheehle of Glenrock; and four grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lori Porter; and brother, Jimmy Scheehle.
The Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
