Age 82; beloved husband of Peggy A. (nee Jowsey) Schlierf; loving father of David (Mary Jo) Schlierf, Nicholas (Pamela) Schlierf and Kimberly Schlierf; cherished grandfather of Steffani, Kelci, Bayli, Jackson, Reagan, Olivia, Jadon, Jacob and the late Kennedy; caring brother of the late Ralph W. (late Sally) Schlierf; also survived by nephews Jeffry, Eric, Douglas, and niece Nicole. The family will be present on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 4-6:30 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner of Hopkins Road), where Funeral Services will follow at 6:30 PM. Richard was a Past Commander of the AJ Jurek Post and Past Commander of the Forty & Eight American Legion. Please share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com
