Richard Schreiber, age 57, of Dover passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Born on Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois, on February 13, 1968, Richard was a son of the late Richard Paul Keblusek and Darlene Yolanda Tasic. He was later adopted and raised by Neil Schreiber.
He was a 1987 graduate of Paxton Buckley Loda High School. Following graduation he served in the US Army. On February 11, 1989 he married Suncha Yi and together they have enjoyed 36 years of marriage.
Rick has worked for Orkin Pest Control for 30 years as a trainer and manager. In his free-time he enjoyed traveling with Suncha. They were avid campers and loved to go on cruises. He and his family also served as missionaries in Mexico for 5 years.
Rick will be missed by his wife; children, Andy (Lindsey) Schreiber of Lebanon, Tennessee, and Tiffany (Brent) Keating of Dover; grandchildren, James, Hans, Mina, Kai, and Henry; sister, Melissa (Michael) Schaumberg; and brother, Christian Schreiber.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and adopted father, Neil Schreiber.
The family will greet guests on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A service honoring Rick’s life will begin at 2:00 PM. The Carl C Stoller VFW Post 1445 will render military honors at the funeral home.
