Richard "Rich" Sledden, born November 3, 1955, passed away suddenly on February 26th 2026. Rich worked as a boat mechanic most of his life in Florida. His passions in life included flint knapping and hunting. Rich lived a quiet life, but he enjoyed being with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father who was waiting for Rich at Heaven's Gates.
Rich is survived by his daughter, Jennifer of New Jersey; his son, Brian of New Jersey; and his son, Daniel of Cassville, Missouri; his wife, Christen; two brothers, Dana and Jeff; and his mother, Constance of North Carolina.
Rich will be missed dearly by his many family and friends, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
