Yesterday

The Van Smith farm house was such an iconic landmark in the Hickory area for so many decades, and I finally got to meet Dick there back in the summer 1978 or 1979 with Jack Ferrell, when Dick was hard at work with the cows. That was definitely a memorable experience that I´ll never forget.

Yesterday

My condolences to his family. I worked with "Smitty" for about 18 years at Koppers. He was always cheerful and brightened everyone's day.
