Richard Stave Obituary

Richard 'Dick' Earl Stave was born to Earl and Harriet (Jensen) Stave on September 14, 1949, in Veblen, SD.
Dick attended country school and Veblen graduating in 1967. He went to Wahpeton Vo-tech school for automotive technology. He moved to Aberdeen and began working for Martin Edwards until he was offered his dream job, working for State Game and Fish. Dick moved to Mobridge where he lived until the time of his death.
Dick loved fishing, hunting, camping, and taking drives with his parents to show them the many camping areas where he worked. Dick truly loved the outdoors.
Blessed to have shared Dick's life are his mother, Harriet Stave; his aunt, Bonnie Hodson; and many other loving cousins.
Preceding Dick in death are his father, Earl Stave; maternal grandparents, Carson and Elisabeth Jensen; and paternal grandparents, Genava and Selmer Stave.

Dick lived next to us on 8th Ave. Had some good times our boys and Dick did a lot of deer hunting in Campbell County. Dick was always a happy guy. His family have our deepest sympathy. Friends Kenny,Donna Rossow and family
