Richard "Dick" Stich of Sarasota, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, at the age of 94. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, and business owner. Richard is reunited in Heaven with his wife of 61 years, Barbara, and son, Rick (survived by Christy). He is survived by his children, Laurie (Alan) Ratliff, Debbie (Brian) Bernard, and Randy (Sherry), along with nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was born to Herman and Catherine (Heil) Stich in Cleveland, Ohio. He proudly served in the United States Army as a sergeant in the Korean War. As a dedicated family man, he worked two full time jobs to support his young family. Prior to establishing Galley Printing in 1968, he worked at Penton Publishing, while operating a small printing business in his basement.

Dad found joy in small moments, like enjoying his morning coffee with a sweet treat. He was always up for dinner out and relaxing with his favorite cocktail. He was a loyal Browns and Buckeyes fan. His great love was his family and he found great joy playing with his great-grandchildren.

After retiring, he became an avid reader and looked forward to weekly "poker night" in Florida. He also liked fishing in the pond behind his home, even if he didn't catch anything.

Richard will be remembered for his calm demeanor, witty humor, and go-with-the-flow attitude.

His children are proud to call him, "Dad."

A private service will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 at Waite Funeral Home for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in his honor. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
