Richard Strawn Obituary
Richard was born Saturday, October 8, 1932, in Boise, Idaho, a son of Milton Rozelle and Irma Bell (Higgins) Strawn. Dick was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He married the love of his life, Charlotte Anne Owen, on October 8, 1973. Together, they shared fifty-two years of marriage, until her recent passing on October 21, 2025.
Richard was a concert violinist, college professor, and symphony conductor. He competed in trail rides as an avid horseman and showed horses in competition. He loved fly fishing and camping in the mountains.
Survivors include his children- Colleen Akiko, Mark Strawn and Cathy Runyan; four grandchildren- John McGeehan, Krista Barnes, Michael Barnes, Charlotte Barnes; and two great grandchildren- Joshua Barnes and Isaiah Barnes
He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years- Charlotte Anne Strawn; daughter- Jennifer Robinson Perry; son- Peter Glenn Strawn; and grandson- Gabriel Rozelle Jackson.
