Richard Lloyd Tackelson passed away at the age of 79, on January 20, 2025 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 16, 1945. In 1965 he started with the Electrical Workers Local #58 in their apprenticeship program. He was a life member of the Elks Lodge #34 in Royal Oak/Detroit, Michigan. In 1967 he married his High School sweetheart Sue (Hutzel) Tackelson. They were blessed with two daughters Karen and Heather. In 1991 they moved to Wickenburg, Arizona. Where he went to work for Toyota at the proven Grounds, Working his way to become the head of maintenance. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, playing golf year round, and cribbage with his buddies. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Sue, daughters Karen (Gary) Brewer and Heather (Doug) Stark, Granddaughter Andie (Eric) Kilpatrick.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Elks Lodge #2160, in Wickenburg, Arizona on February 8th, 2025 at 11 am.
Donations can be made in Richards Name to the Humane Society of Wickenburg, Hospice of the Valley or a charity of your choice.
