TODA, Richard It is with profound sadness that the family of Richard "Dick" Toda announce his peaceful passing on October 26, 2023 at the age of 85. Richard will be forever remembered by his partner and wife of 48 years, Lucy, and daughters, Rene Raffa (George), Lisa Alexander (Mark), Michelle Schultz (Brian); daughter-in-law, Sharon Toda; family member and friend Tish Ott; grandchildren, Kimberly David (Jeremy), Zachary and Jacob Alexander, Trevor and Taylor Schultz, Jacqueline Campbell (Warren), Dr. Brittany Raffa Sale (Andrew), Kristina Raffa-Hedding (Steve); great-grandchildren, Cora, Cymon and Phinley Campbell, Hugh and Connor Raffa Sale, Landon and Kayla David, Henry Hedding; sister, Patty Di Giacobbe (Fred); in-laws, Mary Kowalczyk, Ralph and Steve Dujmovich, cousins, nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his elder brother August Toda, two sons, Richard and Michael and grandson Richard Lee Nichols. Richard worked as Food and Beverage Director of the Tampa Bay Downs for many years. He took immense pride in ensuring high quality dining experiences for all patrons. He loved every aspect of his job and never met a stranger. When he wasn't working he enjoyed gourmet cooking, sports, piano playing and traveling.
