Funeral services for Richard Mickel Trevathan, 66, of Huffman, Texas will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. William Teel officiating. Interment will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 a.m., before the service begins.

Mr. Trevathan was born February 28, 1959, in Angelina County, Texas and passed away October 18, 2025, in Kingwood, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Alton Trevathan.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Creel Trevathan of Huffman, Texas; sons, Brian Michael Trevathan and Jessica of Magnolia, Texas, Isaac Trevathan of Houston, Texas, and Timothy Trevathan of Houston, Texas; mother, Illa Jeanette Trevathan of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Greyson Trevathan, Maya Patel, and Zayne Thomas; sister, Donna Mills and Chuck of Houston, Texas; brother, James Trevathan and Kathy of Tomball, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
