Dick was my manager for years at Allied/Nationwide. He was a one of a kind guy with a huge heart. He truly cared about people. He was a great man and will be missed.

I met Dick when I was hired in 1978 to work in the Computer Operations area of AID Insurance (before it was Allied). Dick was sort of a subject matter expert in "all things operations". He was a smart guy. He was a mentor to me and I learned a great deal from him. He introduced me to key people within IT (called MIS at the time) and the various business units within the company. Away from work, I remember him as a really good golfer and that he liked horse racing (and partying)! Rest in peace Dick.
