Sheridan: Richard A. Walker, 73, of Rt. 39, Forestville, unexpectedly went home to be with his Lord & Savior on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Dunkirk on March 6, 1952, the son of the late Richard and Florajane (Young) Walker.

Richard was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1970. and was Co-Owner of Walker Wine Juice, LLC in Forestville. He was a member of Family Church, Fredonia and he taught Sunday School & different youth classes. Richard enjoyed sharing his faith and ministering to people, hunting, fishing, outdoor activities and spending time with family & friends.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Tammie (Szumigala) Walker of Sheridan, whom he married on June 8, 1991 in their residence, two daughters Olivia Walker, Heather Walker, both of Sheridan, two sons Matthew (Christine) Walker, of Sheridan, Richard (Daphne) Walker, of Burgos, Spain, and a brother James (Susan) Walker, of Sheridan. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Hannah & Sophia Walker and several nieces & nephews.

Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Monday from 7-9 PM and on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 o'clock from Family Church, 19 Church Street, Fredonia with Rev. Michael Anderson, officiating. Interment will follow in Sheridan Center Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials may be made either to Family Church Fredonia, 19 Church Street, Fredonia, NY 14063, or to Andrew Wommack Ministries, PO Box 3333, Colorado Springs, CO 80934.
