Richard P. White

Richard P. White of Largo, FL passed away on Thursday March 20, 2025 at the age of 66. Rick was born in Camden, NJ on June 17, 1958 to the late Charles and Blanche White. He was formerly of Bellmawr, NJ before moving to Largo, FL in 1992. Rick was employed as a union carpenter in Center City Philadelphia before moving to Florida starting a few of his own businesses, then moving on to construction supervisor for St. Petersburg College. He was known as Mr. Fixit by the family, and enjoyed going to the gym with his son and loved to bowl years ago. Rick truly loved his dogs and most of all was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Beloved husband of 46 years to Diane White (nee Howard), loving father of Brian Nicholas White and Christina Marie (Ed) Platt, cherished grandfather of Sophia, Miles and Emma, son-in-law of Maureen and the late Theodore Howard, dear brother of Patricia Deegan, Deborah (Robert) Brown, Jo Ann (Thomas) Kiessling, the late Charles "Chuck" White, and the late Joyce Wassmann, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Carolyn White, Theodore (Margaret) Howard, Ethel Howard and Andrew (Cathy) Howard and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Thursday March 27th, 6-7 PM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. A memorial service for Rick will follow at 7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
