My father James S.Parker)was in dry cleaning business in Fayetteville. As long as I can remember, Richard was his attorney. When Daddy died, Richard was at the receiving friends. As he and I talked, he smiled and said something that touched my heart and I will never forget it as long as I live. He said, "Doris, your Dad was my client but I loved that man." To think of an attorney making a statement like that almost brought me to tears. Richard was a wonderful person as well as a great attorney.

Richard had the greatest smile ever, we will forever be grateful for him mentoring our son, Kenny Dantinne and everything he did for him. He was a great man.

Richard was my oldest brother, my inspiration and
my mentor. He never had a harsh word
against anyone and always wore a smile.
I will miss his humorous stories, particularly the ones he encountered in his practice.
Richard was a kind and wonderful man
and a big influence in many lives, and certainly mine. I will miss him greatly
