Richard Williams Obituary
A “Celebration of Life” Service and Mass for Richard “Richie” Holister Williams, 32, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4736 Lyba St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Father Mark Watson.
Richie was born on August 24, 1990 in Austin, Texas to Michael Williams and Aida Watlington and passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Richie was a resident of Bossier City. He graduated from York High School in Yorktown, Virginia. He loved watching movies, particularly Marvel, the Fast and Furious movies, Harry Potter and Batman. He was an avid fan of Supernatural and The Walking Dead TV shows.
Left to cherish his memory is his father and stepmother, Michael and Gretel Williams; mother and stepfather, Aida and Larry Watlington; brother, Joseph Williams; paternal grandparents, Edwin Williams and Jeanette Blackmer; and maternal grandparents, Ruben Ruiz and Gloria Ruiz.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shreveport.
