Richard Lowell Wilson

Richard Lowell Wilson, known affectionately as Rick to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at his home in State College, Pennsylvania. Born on March 26, 1965, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Lowell and Mary Wilson.
Rick's journey through life was one of kindness and he was a gentle soul. He had a great Love for his Family especially his mother, Mary, who he cared for with great compassion in her later year,
Rick's early education took place in the town where he grew up and he graduated from State College High School in 1983. Rick was a proud Alumnus and Graduate of Penn State University, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1987. Rick developed a lifelong love for Penn State sports, a passion that would remain with him throughout his life. Rick enjoyed cooking and serving others, always with a dash of gentleness and kindness
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Mary Wilson.
Rick leaves behind a loving Family. He was a beloved brother to Joan Potter and her husband Gary. His brother Jon Wilson and his wife, Debbie. Uncle to Amanda Potter, Tyler Wilson and wife Kim, Connor Wilson and wife Meagyan and Blake Wilson and wife Samantha.
The Family will hold a private service to honor his memory at a later date.
