TOWLESVILLE: Richard C. "Dick" Wilson went to heaven greeted by his mother and dad, Rose and Laverne Wilson, granddaughter Christina Rose Berardi and many more that have gone before him.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Marie Wilson and five children: Richard K. Wilson of Caton, Douglas (Naomi) Wilson of Wellsville, Bonnie (Lenny) Grebleski of Big Flats, Beth (David) Kritz of Cinccinati, and Rebecca Rose Berardi of Towlesville, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is also survived by siblings, Laverne (Patricia) Wilson of Bath, Dolores Bixby of Hornby, Maryanne (David) McRae of Avoca, Bob Wilson of Bath and Philip (Shirley) Wilson of Bath. Dick had extreme love for his family.

He was born in the village of Bath and grew up in Towlesville within the farming community. He was respected by many friends because of his integrity and kindness. He had a passion for gardening and had a gentle heart for animals. All who knew Dick, knew he was an example of his Christian faith through his belief in Christ.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours from noon- 2:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Buena Vista Wesleyan Church. Burial will be made in Fairview Cemetery in Towlesville.

Memorial contributions in Dick's name may be made to the SPCA of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are in care of the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo.
