Died: October 23, 2024 in Griffin, GA
Richard J. Wolf Jr., age 72 of Griffin GA passed away on Wednesday October 23rd. He was born in Sterling IL on June 26th, 1952, the son of Richard "Dick" (Caryl) Wolf Sr. and Margaret "Peggy" (Bill) Dunne. He is preceded in death by both parents, Grandmother Urith Wagner, and son-in-law Tony "Paco" Selden.
He loved his wife and family with all of his heart. He is survived by his wife Lisa Kastello of Griffin GA, brother Jim (Carey) Wolf of Loves Park IL. Children Heather (Joel) Selden of Dixon IL, Jennifer Fisher of Milwaukee WI, Sarah Wolf of Trevor WI, Paul (Tina) Wolf of Sterling IL, Becky (Brian) Healy of Denver CO and grandchildren Chase (Elizabeth), Drake, Justin, Connor (Savanna), Zoe, Alyssa (Xavier), Marlie. A proud veteran with the United States Army; he worked for the IDOC for 23 years with a degree in criminal justice and as a Lee County IL bailiff. After retirement he worked for the Midwest transport driving youth between criminal Justice system locations. His quick wit and fluency in sarcasm served him well in all arenas. He enjoyed bicycling, tennis, movies, music, and sharing memes/videos with loved ones. A private service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Tennis People Inc. a 501-c3 organization and a great cause for tennis players with disabilities.
