Richard Zehnder Obituary

He was born on June 15, 1960 in Louisville to the late Paul B. Zehnder and Carol O'Leary Zehnder.
He was a retired parking manager in downtown Louisville. He loved football, especially Lamar's Baltimore Ravens and the Minnesota Vikings, who were kind enough to win against the Jets the day he died.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Zehnder.
He is survived by his sons, Andrew Zehnder and Kurt Zehnder; mother of his sons, Anita Zehnder; sisters, Lynn Smith (Dickie), Gina Russell (Mike) and Christi Phelphs (Alvin); sister-in-law, Carol Mattingly; nieces and nephews, Laura Greenberg (Trevor), Adam Smith (Tabitha), Sarah Carlson (Pete), Pam Demling (TJ), Dominic Phelphs (Sahadat) and Robert Phelphs; numerous great nieces and great nephews, other loving family members and long-time friends, Tim, Paul and Vince.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Noon in Barth Hall, St. Bartholomew Church, 2040 Buechel Bank Road. Friends, family, and friends of family are welcome.
Memorial gifts may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
