Rick Barretta Obituary

Rick Barretta
Rick Barretta, known to many as "Rick the Torch," peacefully passed away on August 16, 2025. Born August 10, 1958, in Santa Rosa to Manuel and Rita Barretta, Rick was a true local who lived life on his own terms.
He was a world champion drag boat racer, a licensed pilot, and a master craftsman in auto body and painting. Rick loved the outdoors-fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles were some of his favorite things. He built the Barretta Ranch as a place for family and friends to gather and make memories.
More than anything, Rick loved being a grandfather. He is deeply missed by his grandchildren Jasmine, Camillia, and Jaxon, his sons Rick Barretta Jr. and Jason Barretta, and all the family and friends whose lives he touched.
We invite everyone to join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Tomrose Ranch 5307 Stony Point Rd, Santa Rosa, CA.
Come as you are and share your stories, laughter, and memories. Rick's spirit will be with us all day as we honor a life well lived.
