Rick Card

Richard Paul Card, age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 15, 2023 from a short illness. Rick was born at Fort Campbell, KY, on December 16, 1954, to his parents Richard H. and Dorothy E. Card.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy E. Card of Rochester, NH, his wife of 44 years, Susan, his three sons, Ryan and his wife Jamie from Rollinsford, NH; Evan and his wife Amy from Dover, NH; Griffin and his wife Lauren from Rochester, NH, six grandchildren, Mason, Quinn, Harlan, Leighton, Romie, and Nora Card, his brother Timothy Card and his wife Susan of New Durham, NH, and many aunts, uncles, brothers and sister in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Rick was a man of great love for his family. "By his exemplary, loving, compassionate life, he generated a bright light that graced this world which will never be extinguished." He was a true gentleman and a "gentle man", kind, loyal and generous, honorable and full of integrity.
Rick graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1973. He has worked at DF Richard Energy, Inc. for the past 45 years, and was the CEO. Rick participated in many organizations throughout the years, some of which are: New England Fuel Institute, Propane Gas Association of New England, New Hampshire Motor Transport, and Wentworth Douglas Hospital Charitable Foundation.
