In loving memory of Rick Eugene Carver
October 19,1956 - April 12, 2025
"Well done, good and faithful servant.' - Matthew 25:23
It is with deep sorrow but faithfulness in God's promises that we announce the passing of Rick Eugene Carver, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who was called home to be with his Lord on April 12, 2025, at the age of 68. He departed this earthly life after a long and courageous battle surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on October 19,1956 to George and Margaret Carver in Cleveland, TN, Rick was a devoted servant of Christ, a faithful member of First Baptist, and a light to all who knew him. He found joy in worship and fellowship.
Rick was a lifelong lover of nature, often he found solace and joy in the quiet moments spent fishing on the lake, a hobby he shared with many friends and family. For him, fishing was more than just a pastime, it was a way to connect with God's creation and reflect on all his life's blessings. If you couldn't find Rick at home, you could find him fishing.
He is survived by his devoted wife Jackie Carver; his daughter, Jill (Parker) Beaty; his son Eric (Jessica) Carver and his grandchildren Cadence and Cheyenne Carver. As well as, his brother George "Bugs" (Carol) Carver and a host of nieces and nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. All of whom will cherish his memory forever.
A Celebration of Rick's life and faith will be held at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Chapel on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 7:00 pm with Josh Cornelius and Dustin Hicks officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm prior to the service.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am.
Though our hearts are heavy, we can take comfort in knowing that he now rest in the eternal arms of our savior, free from pain and rejoicing in glory.
"He fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith." 2Timothy 4:7
