Rick Causey Obituary
His funeral will be 7:00 PM Wednesday evening, April 23, 2025, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 PM until the hour of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Mr. Causey was born May 16, 1964, in North Charleston, SC, a son of Hal Lamar Causey, Sr., and Fay Adeline Bentley Henderson. He was a former employee of Sandpiper Retirement Village and Dixie George Jones Mobile Homes. Mr. Causey loved karaoke, doing mechanic work, and building things, one of his specialties being trailers. He also enjoyed his annual adventures to Utah to visit his mother, and skydiving with his son.
Surviving are his companion, Barbara Randall; three daughters, Ashley Causey and Katlyn Causey both of Moncks Corner, and Kelly Crandall of Arkansas; two sons, Daniel Causey of Moncks Corner, and Matthew Causey of Greenville; his step father, Jerry Henderson of Vernal, UT; a sister, Beverly Unck of Vernal, Utah; three brothers, Hal Causey, Jr., and Bryan Henderson both of Cottageville, and Timothy Causey of Moncks Corner; and three grandchildren.

My dear sons, Matthew and Danny,
I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your father. I know there are no perfect words that can ease the pain you're feeling right now, but please know how much my heart is with you. He was an important part of your lives, and his memory will always live on through you-your strength, your kindness, your laughter, and all the pieces of him that live in you.
Grief can come in waves-some gentle, some overwhelming-but you don´t have to go through it alone. I´m here for you in every way I can be, with love, with open arms, and with a heart that aches alongside yours.
Take all the time you need to grieve, to remember, and to heal. Your feelings are valid, and your father´s love will always be with you.
