Rick Deussen

Mr. Richard Raymond Deussen, 69, of Grenada, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 at his son's residence. He was born June 9, 1953 in Detroit, MI to John and Alice White Deussen. Rick owned and operated his own carpet cleaning business for a number of years. He was blessed to have had a life-changing experience with Jesus Christ and enjoyed worshiping Him with other believers at Christ Community Church in Grenada.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Christ Community Church. A service to celebrate his life will immediately follow visitation at 12:00 noon also at Christ Community Church.
Survivors include a son, Rev. John Goldwater(Sara) of Grenada; daughter, Korrie Deussen of New York; sister, Sister Mary Michael of Round Top, NY; brother, Mike Deussen of Port Huron, MI; four grandchildren, Josh, Levi, Alison and Anna Goldwater; one niece, two nephews, a special friend, Alicia Applewhite of Grenada and a host of friends who were more like family that he loved and was loved by at AA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Deussen.
