Richard Deussen Obituary
A California native Rick was born December 10, 1956, in San Diago; he was the son of Dick Deussen and Shirley Ramey Deussen. He was a graduate of Taipei American High School class of 1974 and would earn a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from University of Redlands.
He is survived by loving wife of 37 years, Joy Livingston Deussen of Shelbyville; children, Richard Deussen and wife Andrea of CA, Dan Deussen of Nashville, Henry Deussen of Nashville and Isabelle Deussen of Shelbyville; brothers, Mike Deussen and wife Kathy of CA, Phil Deussen and wife Melissa of CO, and Ed Deussen and wife Joan of AZ; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2024, First Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Rasnick officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held prior to services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
Doak-Howell Funeral Home is serving the family.
