Richard "Rick" Wayne Enloe Jr., 73, of Springfield, Mo passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023.
He was born February 19, 1950, to Richard and Dorothy Enloe in Cuba, Mo. Growing up he loved playing the trumpet, his red 1963 Chevy Impala, cherry bombs, and the St Louis Cardinals. While in Cuba he met the love of his life, Becky. They were married on May 1, 1971. Shortly after the wedding, Rick was deployed. Becky joined him and they were stationed in the Philippines and Hawaii. Ultimately that led to his favorite role of being a Dad and eventually grandfather. He was ever present at every choir concert, sporting event, and band performance. He was emphatic that loving the St Louis Cardinals was the only acceptable option despite their pitching.
He is best known as Mr. E of Mr. E's magic. He loved being a magician and performed for many years throughout the area. He gained many friends and fans in the magical community. He was a longtime member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Even while on chemo he would perform for the nurses. It was a joy to him to see people experience wonder by what he was able to do.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Becky, daughter Dena Atchley and husband Robert, daughter Kellie Soles and husband Justin, and granddaughter Kaitlynne Womack and husband Levi. He is also survived by his brother Nathan Enloe as well as numerous nieces, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO. Graveside services will be held at the Veteran's Cemetery at a later date.

Rick was one of the best bosses I ever had. So many memories of Churches Fried Chicken and babysitting the girls. Rick and Becky were the the kindest people. Rick, you will be greatly missed.
