We were neighbors as kids. And late I knew his wife Roxy I worked at Deaconess and she worked in HR. What a charming woman. I am sorry for your loss. Ross their son played ball with our son Drew Hittner. So we ran into each other again. Ross looked like Rick and also had that charm. I was a Husk then. Ross would remember us as Hittner's. We are sorry for the loss of your father.

Some of my best memories were with Rick, Gary and Finis Gilley sitting at the counter of Evansville Supply on Market street in the 1980´s discussing everything. I learned a lot from them and all of the other tradesmen that came there. Rick always maintained a congenial atmosphere. I remember Rick talking at my father´s retirement, telling of all the times that my father would come into his office and set Rick´s trash can upside down on his desk and walkout. Just thinking about it makes me smile. Two pranksters trying to out do the other.
Sadly time passes, things change and we loose touch with our old friends and colleagues. It has been over 25 years since I last talked Rick. I regret that we lost touch. Rick, you will always have a special place in our heart and memories.
