Ricky Robert Jensen passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 71. He was born in Brigham City, Utah on April 14, 1953, the son of Robert D. Jensen and Rhea Williams Jensen. He grew up in Brigham City and was educated in Box Elder County schools. In 1990, Holly Mosher, became a part of his life, along with her son, Derek. That relationship ended in 2005 and Holly passed away in 2007.
Rick loved helping other people. He was an entrepreneur and inventor. He started several businesses, including partnering with Derek in a very successful electronic tobacco business that spread beyond the state of Utah. He also worked at Comcast for twenty-seven years.
Rick built his home in Nibley, where he spent the last several years of his life, and where he passed away. He enjoyed building things, collecting and restoring classic cars, fishing, traveling, skiing, water skiing and remote-controlled cars, boats, and planes.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a brother, Clare Jensen. He is survived by his son, Derek Mosher, and Chandler Paskins, a close friend.
Friends and family are invited to call at Allen Hall Mortuary Monday, January 27 from 6:00 to 8:00. Special thanks to caregivers at IHC and Primrose for your kindness and compassion.
