Rick L. Moore

Rick L. Moore, 67, of Ewen, MI, passed away on December 14, 2025, in flight after complications from a brief illness.

He was born on July 27, 1958, in Rochester, MI, the son of the late Raymond and Betty (Strange) Moore, Sr. He attended the Clawson Schools and later graduated.

Rick married Carolyn Bobnock on June 13, 2015, in Crystal Falls, MI. The couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this year.

He was employed in Iron County as a mechanic for many years before his retirement. Rick loved to build hot rods and work on cars. He was an outdoor sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Family was most important to him, and he enjoyed making peanut butter fudge and biscuits and gravy for his grandchildren.

Rick is survived by his wife, Carolyn Moore; daughter, Jennifer (Jeromy) Stairs of Crystal Falls, MI; brother, Dave Moore of Titusville, FL; grandsons, Justin and Jordan Stairs; brother-in-law, Butch Moskwa of Madison Heights, MI; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Jr. and James Moore; sister, Terry Moskwa; and an infant grandson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the VFW Post #2891 in Crystal Falls, MI.

Interment will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Wellston, MI.
