Gina Pokas Obituary
Gina L. Pokas, 43, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital.
She was born on March 16, 1982, in Crystal Falls, MI, the daughter of Gerald and Glenna (Gorman) Wright. Gina attended the West Iron County Schools, graduating with the class of 2000.
Gina married Michael Pokas on October 14, 2017, at the Iron River Township Hall.
She enjoyed reading and watching movies and loved to cook. She was proud of being a mom.
Gina is survived by her husband, Michael; mother and stepfather, Glenna Wright and Tim Misoni of Iron River; sons, Bryton and Wyatt Brozak and Gabriel Pokas, all of Iron River; daughters, Shayleigh and Alexandria Brozak, both of Iron River; brother, Greg (Andrea) Wright of Iron River, MI; sister, April Gorman of Iron River, MI; extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Wright.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. A funeral service will follow at 3 pm with Pastor Al Smith to officiate.
Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
