Rick Samuelson Obituary
Richard Green Samuelson (Rick), 78, of Grants Pass, Oregon, died at home on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Born June 08, 1947, in Blantyre, Scotland, Rick was known for his love of spoiling his wife, his work ethic in his life career as a florist, and loving all his family by birth and marriage. He loved Mini Coopers, reconnecting with his birth country of Scotland, and traveling.
Raised in Orange County, California, Rick and his son, Rick, Jr., moved to Southern Oregon where he married Judy and her two children, Cristen and Greg, on July 13, 1979.
Rick is survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Rick, Jr. (Ginny), Cristen (Rob), and Greg (Kim), eighteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rena, and his father, Ken. In recent years, Rick also reconnected with his birth family from the United Kingdom, siblings Claudia and Tom Bloom, cousin Tommy (Christine) Gordon and son, Ritchie.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass.
