Rick A. StClair

Rick A. StClair, age 68 of Salesville, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born in Cambridge on July 17, 1954, a son of the late Robert StClair and Geraldine (English) StClair.
Mr. StClair was a member of the Stop Nine Church of Christ and Guernsey-Noble Beekeepers Assoc. He was a well known area BBQ pit master and named his gig "Smell My Pit". He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting, as well as being an ODNR Hunter Safety Instructor. He enjoyed working on vehicles and in general, he could troubleshoot everything. He would do anything for anyone but especially his kids and grandkids.
Rick is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dona D. (Baker) StClair. They were married on June 2, 1988. Also surviving are his children, Maisie StClair, Dustin (Vicki) StClair, and Tansi (Shoin) McBride of Zanesville; grandchildren Davin and Vada StClair, Jaisie and Jaida StClair, Landon Fuller and Leyton McBride. Remaining siblings are Marsh StClair of Lore City, Jeff (Jo Heath) StClair of Chillocothe, Michael (Sallie) StClair of Cambridge, and Jan (Jim) Mason of Seneca, SC.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronnie StClair.
A memorial service will be held at Stop Nine Church of Christ on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with the receiving line starting at 10:00 a.m. Mark Beros will officiate with burial to take place in Salesville Methodist Cemetery at a later date.
