Rickey Minnick Obituary
He was born on May 17, 1955, in Corry, PA, a son of the late Willis and Geraldine (Neese) Minnick.
Rick was raised and educated in Spartansburg until the Spartansburg School closed; he graduated from Corry Area High School. After a few years of working, he joined the US Navy and served for four years. After his honorable discharge, he came back to the Corry area and worked at Corry Contract for many years. Rick then worked for the City of Corry, first in the streets department and then in the water department. He worked for the city for over 20 years until he retired.
He enjoyed bowling, hunting and spending time with his family. He also was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa (Albers) Minnick, whom he married on February 14, 1981, in Corry, PA and brother, Donald Minnick.
Rick is survived by his daughter, Lori Sue (Ray) King of Jefferson, GA; two sons, Kevin (Erin) Minnick of Adairsville, GA and Cody Minnick of Corry, PA; two sisters, Linda (Robert) of Erie, PA and Debora (Rene) Menjivar of Corry, PA and brother, Roger (Mary Beth) Minnick of Corry, PA.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Sean, Jaxon and Collins Minnick, Bailey and Brooke King and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
Arrangements are under the care of Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA 16407.
